Me and my friend came in here for breakfast at about 9:30 am Wed. It was slow and plenty of seats were available. We chose to sit at the bar. It took a minute for anyone to approach us and throughout our meal the service was lackluster, not bad just not as attentive as I expect. Turns out there was only one person to take care of everyone at the tables and the bar.

The food was good, not great but good. I had the stuffed French toast with a side of potatoes, and my friend had quiche with a side of fruit.

I would recommend for them to change how they do their stuffed French toast. The flavor of their egg mixture is perfect but instead of slapping two pieces of bread together, buy local bread and have it cut it thicker then add a cut where you can add the filling. Putting 2 pieces of wonderbread together by adding some filling in between is far from what i expected and I would probably not order that again.

The quiche that my friend had was good through. Perfectly cooked and the flavors blended well.

I came here a few times and their American dishes are really good. I don't like the Asian fusion dishes as much. I came here recently for restaurant week where they were serving a Cajun Grouper and Grits. It was really good and would definitely recommend it. I'm also a fan of their Seared Scallops with Citrus Chimichirri.

Late October and we sat outside on the patio by the fireplace. It was fantastic! I ordered the ultimate grilled cheese and a salad. I love their blue cheese and the sandwich was delicious. My husband got the black and blue burger and said it was one of the best burgers he’s ever had.

We pop in here a couple times a month (mostly their amazing brunch) and it’s always very good

We have visited here twice for brunch and it doesn’t disappoint. On a beautiful fall day in Colorado, sitting outside is a must. Tasty breakfast and mimosas. I had the two eggs over easy with bacon and potatoes. Good portion size for what you pay.

Not knowing what to expect after reading several reviews criticizing the lack of service, I have to say the service was top notch from the hostess to our waitress, Lydia, to the bus staff.
The Cajun Shrimp and Lobster
Linguini was spot on, the Caesar Salad was crisp and had plenty of dressing. My wife had the Hatch Chili, Cheddar, BBQ Burger with fries.
Prepared perfectly medium rare and served hot.
The desert, hot apple crisp with ice cream, was to die for. Excellent.
Whisky pour was very generous and not over priced.
Price was reasonable for good food and service.
We will go back.

Outstanding food. Wait time was long, they need more seating. Prices are pretty reasonable for a restaurant in town. I shared menu photos, including their special brunch menu.

Block & Bottle has become our go to here in castle rock! Servers and management are all extremely personable and attentive. Food is fresh and consistent, and we love the vibes/atmosphere. Karri, Natalie, Savannah, Tami, Celso, Maya, and Juan (just to name a few) are absolute rock stars - but as I said, the entire the staff is super friendly and informative. From the breakfast, to dinner (crab stuffed salmon is ), and the drinks - everything is just absolutely amazing!

I dined here on a slow evening. Our server, Celso, was attentive and there when we needed him. The mussels appetizer was a strange pairing with the verde salsa but it wasn't bad. The Brick Chicken entree was far from good. The chicken was barely seasoned and was topped with a cheese sauce that left the whole dish with a bad taste. The pot roast was good but the carrots in the seasoned vegetables were close to raw. The flavor in the beef and the mashed potatoes were good. The bread pudding was a good dessert choice. I would love to try this place again but I won't be ordering any of the same items.
