My husband and I tried Lorena's cakes at a wedding fair last year and once we had come to the decision that we did not want to opt for a traditional wedding cake, we knew that Lorena's cakes were the choice for us and our wedding!
Specifically, I tried Lorena's rum baba cakes at the wedding fair and it was these cakes that drew me in! As well as the rum baba, Lorena offers a lovely range of Italian mini cakes and pastries, so that you are able to select 3 to 4 different options to make up a beautiful dessert table for your wedding guests.
We opted for the rum baba (as we already knew that they were delicious!), hazelnut bigne and peche finte. Each dessert was beautifully made and tasted fabulous.
Lorena did a brilliant job of helping me to decide to which cakes to go for. A couple of months before the wedding, we had a consultation over Zoom in which she gave detailed explanations of how her service works and descriptions about all of her cakes. I love that she also puts a lot of thought into how the cakes are presented - she has different options with regards to cake stands/displays. She suggested a lovely idea for our venue where the cakes are displayed in white rustic-style wooden crates, which teamed perfectly with our countryside venue.
Lorena's cakes were the perfect accompaniment to our wedding. I would definitely recommend if you're thinking of going for something other than a traditional wedding cake!

Lorena you smashed it! Everything was just perfect just as I knew it would be. The attention to detail was second to none! I tried every one over the last few days. ? ? That wedding cake though! Nicest cake I’ve ever tasted. It has been demolished! Everyone loved it! An order will be coming your way for another next year I believe! The happy couple said you were worth every penny. Not only are your pastries delicious, they make such a beautiful display! Thank you so much again. We would most definitely recommend you to anyone wanting that wow wedding cake alternative! ❤️

A true taste of Italian patisserie. Lorena has been fantastic in creating our wedding cakes and pasticcini to our wedding. The service is great from beginning to the end. We had numerous meeting to decide make sure our ideas were translated into delicious creations and Lorena has been very profession and helpful in achieving that. The result was amazing, we decided for two different cakes, a pan di spagna and a millefoglie, and some 300 pasticcini. Lorena also set up our dessert table according to our wedding theme and that made it special. Other than tasting delicious the cakes and the pasticcini also looked amazing and the decorations, in line with ours, is where Lorena excels. Thank you from bringing a taste of Italy to our special day!

Lorena was wonderful in helping us create our perfect dessert table/cake for our day.
We were quite indecisive at times and Lorena persevered with us, was patient and flexible but most of all gave us so many options and recommendations which made the process so easy.
Having the opportunity to taste them prior to our day was invaluable and was also lovely to get the chance to find out more about Lorena and her business.
Our cake was perfect as were the mini desserts with such intricate detail and delicious flavours - we’ve never seen anything like it at another wedding which really made it all the more special for us.
I just wish we had more time on the day to share the experience but rest assured there were no leftovers and we received so many compliments about them.

We came across Lorena at a wedding fair and knew as soon as tasting her pastries that we wanted them for our wedding! Since then we've had a few opportunities to try different ones and each one was more delicious than the last.
