Gave Gerry’s a ring on a Friday night, wanting to grab a bottle of Mezcal for a get-together. Originally planned on popping over to Whistler Exchange, but they were set to close up shop before I could make it. The staff there recommended Gerry’s, so thought I’d give it a go.

Quick call to Gerry’s and got pointed towards their website to check prices, and I’ve got to say, the site’s a doddle to use. Popped in after seeing the prices, and blimey, was I surprised by their collection and the vibe in there. Absolutely spot on. The staff were a right treat too—proper knowledgeable and steered me towards some cracking Mezcal options.

Edited to correct the name of the store:
I just had a lovely experience at Gerry’s wines & Spirits. Two sales guys from Lingering Vodka by Broken Clock gave me a taste of a marvelous vodka. AND Gerry’s had a selection of vodka that I have not yet seen I. The land of Gin! Great store. Tiny but focused on selection. Thanks!

We were on a small break down south from the North East and took a train into London as we usually do and as normal we walked down streets we've never done before and this time happened upon Old Compton Street where we found Gerrys.

It's a shop with a great British olde world feel and we loved that. The guys in the shop were so friendly helpful, we bought a few bottles from them for the home bar, which they kindly held hold of until later in the day,
so we didn't have to drag them around with us and had planned to visit again later in the week but sadly plans have changed.

The shop has so many choices, the usual brands but also loads of bottles of stuff we've never seen before.

We've just registered on the site as we plan to use their online delivery service and can't wait to go into London again to pop in and have a look at more outstanding products

If you're ever in the area, it's not far from Oxford Street or Covent Gardens, definitely recommend you have a wander in. You'll be astonished by the range of products.
