This bakery is addictive once you get used to having their coffee and pastelillos. I usually go on Saturday morning and it gets absolutely packed and loud. Not a bad thing. But the customer service suffers and I've had to wait for a coffee more than necessary. They take your name and you just sit at your table and wait to be called but I learned my lesson. Now I stand by the counter and make sure I get my coffee without my food getting cold at the table. Pastelillos de queso are great as well as the alcapurrias and croquetas. Had a lasagna for lunch and it was delicious. The chicken pastelillos were very dry and tasteless so I don't recommend them. The Tembleque was exquisite and the cheese and guava donut was sinful. Going around 1pm is a quiet and slower time during the week

I Love everything about the place .. very friendly, welcoming staff. The place is very clean .. and for the first time I had a cafe con leche ( excellent) with a pan con Jamon .. at this bakery, delicious and excellent price . Come though is worth the price .. just moved from NJ and this gives NJ the run for the money .

The worst Tres Leches cake you will ever buy is here at this bakery. They did a really mess up work on our birthday Tres Leches cake order. It was suppose to be a moist cake and they gave us a milk soup omg. Plus we ask for top message Happy birthday….. and only got the name by it self no decoration nothing. The presentation was terrible the container were they place it was week and really hard to cut and served I don’t know how a bakery can operate like that. I was so mad that I am agreement with a few former customers that this place is losing business because of their employees attitudes and bad customer service skills. On the other hand, is being three times I’ve had bad food encounters the first time I order white rice, and red beans with the stew pork chop well the beans were old like from the day before terrible and the pork shop was not well cooked it was hard to chew and tasted like cardboard.
The second bad experience was yesterday I got white rice, what they call Pastelon with uncooked ground beef and some pasta salad the only good thing was the rice and pasta salad but the Pastelon was not cooked properly I got stomach sick all day from that I will never again but Latin food from their hot food thing. Ever I recommend the pastry’s, coffee, sandwiches that’s it nothing else. BE AWARE BE CAUTIOUS WHAT YOU PUT IN YOUR SYSTEM PLEASE ? OK
Also their prices are not the best ones in town neither. The Tres Leches cake cost $55.00 and to me it was not worth that. I’m so mad they ruined my birthday celebration

A lot of variety in products, a modern and accessible place. What I didn't like about the place is that they have things pre-made and serve them, and the food loses quality when it has been waiting in heat for hours. The service was very slow even when there weren't many people. You have to ask for many things because when they serve the food, they didn't provide the necessary items for me to eat it. I think there are better places that offer fresher food.

The presentation of the hot food, salad and pastries looks clean and fresh. Some of the pastries look like art works.We ordered roasted pork (pernil) baked chicken fried plantains garlic casaba and salad. Everything was good, hot and fresh. Need more oil on the casaba but it had good taste. They only have regular milk for the coffee, these days you need more options to accommodate the different styles of diets. We definitely will go back.
