My friend recommended this place and it's kinda bonkers!!! I literally felt like I was somewhere in Asia ? having a new foodie experience which I did. I tried frong for the 1st time and it was yummy and of course tasted like chicken. Everything i ordered was so filled with flavors and perfect portions. If your bigger like myself be prepared to sit close but still comfy. Last thing they usually have a 15 to 20min wait but worth it.

Food is not bad. There is a rule about ordering skewers which is you have to order an alcohol drink first. But we don’t drink, so we didn’t get a chance to try them out. Hopefully next time, when I bring a friend who drinks, then I could try the skewers out!

Food: they serve Korean bar food, like skewers and stir fried dishes. I recommend trying a few skewers and a main dish, which is large enough to feed two.

Parking: the restaurant has a small parking lot with valet. Enter on Sixth Street because the side street is only for existing.

Tips: it’s dimly lit and gets crowded quick. They have both bar and wall seating. Cool spot to chill and throw back a few.

串燒類一定要點酒，才能點串燒。馬鈴薯排骨湯蠻好喝的，料很多味道也足夠，海鮮煎餅也好吃。
缺點是真的要等比較久，週日晚上九點多要等將近半小時，店內地板非常的黏，因為生意很好所以停車場基本上也沒位置停要去附近找

Bugulgi、蒸蛋、起司玉米、辣炒年糕都相當美味，酸奶燒酒好喝又特別，基本上是每一道菜都算好吃，非常推薦的一家韓式居酒屋！

I recently visited Dan Sung Sa and had a mixed experience. Here’s a breakdown of my thoughts:

Variety Skewers: The skewers were amazing! Each one was packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. Whether you’re a fan of meat, seafood, or vegetables, there’s something for everyone.

Kimchi Pancake: The kimchi pancake was another highlight. It was crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and had just the right amount of spice. A must-try for anyone who loves Korean cuisine.

Atmosphere: While the food was fantastic, I wasn’t a big fan of the atmosphere. The restaurant can get quite crowded, which might be a testament to how good the food is, but it also made for a less comfortable dining experience.

Overall, Dan Sung Sa offers incredible food, especially their skewers and kimchi pancake. If you don’t mind a bustling environment, it’s definitely worth a visit for the delicious dishes.

My husband and I came here on our first night visiting LA and waited outside for more than an hour…but it was totally worth it. One of the perfect portraits of an ideal K town restaurant experience - this area is sprawling so it can take a while to mine the gems, but once you do the places that come out on top are keepers. First thing’s first the ambiance is unforgettable. Rowdy but not overwhelming, enough space to comfortably fit people but you’re at a good distance to bump shoulders if you want. While I’ve lived in NYC and been to several fun pochas/izakayas, this one felt like it was on a bigger scale yet dare I say homier level of authenticity.

Skewers were what I wish all izakaya skewers would taste like. Stir fried spicy squid were familiarly saucy and satisfying, especially for late night. Steamed pork belly was filling and well balanced with the wraps. Yogurt soju came in a fun kettle-like vessel. Just LOVE the vibes.
