In from out of town and almost did not go, but friends said to try it. Glad I did. Very cool old building, great atmosphere, great service and the chicken wings were very honestly the best I have had. And I have had my fair share of wings all over the place. These were the the meatyiest well done wings I have ever had. They were the green chili wing. Freaking delicious. Glad I went.

Copper Rail has been a regular dinner spot for my family and me ever since I was a kid. Boasting a friendly staff and a great sports bar atmosphere, it’s a great spot to come for a game day or late night. I’ve seen several Super Bowls at Copper Rail, and the bar food is serviceable enough. You can’t go wrong with any of the appetizers or the wide selection of pizza. The sandwiches and fries are pretty average, so maybe stick to the wings or ballpark nachos.

The good:
Came here for date night on a Friday evening. Upon arrival we expected to wait, but the wait wasn't bad. We talked to the nice hostess and waited 10 mins behind a couple who were sharing some S&M photos with each other. I wasn't trying to look, but they weren't exactly trying to be discreet.
The atmosphere was great, I felt like I was placed in a time capsule and sent back to the late 90's. Since that was the best decade next to the 80's, I felt right at home.
No issues with the service, we were brought drinks shortly after ordering them. Our server was pleasant and experienced enough to read the table. Allow us to order, answer our questions, and keep it professional. All checked.

The food:
Since this was my first time here I thought I'd go with the highlighted restaurant named burger on the menu. Huge mistake. I ordered it medium because you never know which line cook is working. Cooked to imperfection on the high end of medium well. Super dry, less than warm, and not seasoned at all. It literally sucked all the moisture out of my body and I had to order another drink to wash it down. If I was to have a burger named after my restaurant, that's the burger I would invest my good ingredients into. I would make it with a bigger fat ratio to render some juices into it and sear the outside to lock in all that love and season the crap out of it. Coarse salt and pepper with a little paprika. Super cheap and effective. Maybe throw on some fried onions. I don't know, whatever railroad hands ate back then.
My beautiful date got the Rueben. Buried in the the menu for some reason, this gem shined brightly as the star of the meal with the, I don't know, ranch sauce, it came with. That was delicious. The meat was tender, the bread was crispy, and it was warmer than room temperature, with melty cheese. The meat was distributed perfectly. So perfectly, the only thing left at the end of its demise was finger length piece of crust.

The conclusion:
The food could have easily been a 5. I should have saved up my calorie intake for a whopper or similar. Due to the inconsistencies of making all the food with love, you get a 3.
You did well in 2 out of the 3 graded areas for us. That isn't too bad.
Would I come back? Probably. I won't go for the burger because I know based off the opinion of 1 guy on the internet that it will remain the same. At a minimum, at least change the name of the burger to, " The 1880," and here, copy and paste this: "This ol' dry unseasoned piece of meat from 2 centuries ago with veggies on some bread. Your choice of cheese" That way no one is tricked into getting it and leaving a poor review.

Nicely priced drinks, sweet waitresses, but the salad I ate (Broncos something) had me up till 3 am puking my guts out. I knew the lettuce looked a little suspicious but it was all mixed. Hopefully they look out going forward with their salads, I was seriously sick last night :(.

Was visiting from out of town and found this location because of the bison burger. Ordered ralphie's bison burger, waitress asked how I wanted my burger cooked. I asked for medium rare. This was overcooked for sure and they are square patties, most likely a frozen patty. Oh and by the way you will be charged 3% on your credit card or debit card and that also is for back of house tipping.

Reuben was good, sauce on the side. Nothing special about it but no complaints. Very standard. Fries are a little dry, but I like skin-on potatoes. Pizza is very mid, but all you can ask for in a bar environment.

I am from WA state, so for me, the prices were low. Probably not the case if you’re from the area. Because it felt cheap, my experience felt appropriately fine. Great environment/atmosphere, but I am a foodie, and the food was nothing to write home about.

Waited a bit to get served BUT it was busy so not sure if short staffed..? Server was super sweet though! Food was delicious! Had the chips; tortilla soup (very good!); salad very fresh (cilantro lime dressing was really good); hubby had chicken fried chicken and green chili- both VERY good! (I tasted the chili and wished I’d gotten it - had nice spice to it!); daughter had blue cheese bacon burger - seasoned perfectly (a LITTLE more cooked than she’d like but not complaining!);
Good wine selection; atmosphere was great!
I highly recommend this place!

They also have a pizza salad buffet!

My 1st time in. Found the restaurant on Google. It's a better bar than restaurant. I ordered the barbecue chicken salad. The barbecue chicken breast was small and had a dry texture. The menu said it was topped with fried onion rings. It had fried onion bits similar to dried Durkee onions. They had been over cooked in rancid oil. By the time I figured out what the bad flavor was, I didn't have time to order a new one so I just picked out what I could. That being said, the lettuce and avocado was fresh and the homemade ranch was good. They were short on help so everyone was put on one side of the restaurant in order for the waitress to get to everyone. She did a fabulous job. I was having lunch with a friend and the noise made it difficult for us to converse. Thank you to the manager for the $5 off on my salad.
