Affordable drinks and great food, especially during their happy hour specials. It's a cozy place to stay warm or cool off. Everyone kind of knows each other by face, reputation, or interaction. However, there are a few toxic individuals, like Wenting, who puts their dirty shoes on the stools and yelled at the bartender when they were cut off after a few drinks, very obnoxious behavior. It's a local community bar, so you get the good, the bad, and the ugly. I've met Mei a few times, and she's a nice lady once you get to know her. Great place to sing late night, love karaoke!

This is a long period family owned bar in Chinatown. It is a kind of old classic bar. The food is still tasty and delicious at a reasonable price.

05/29/2024 update: after i wrote a 1 start review, this business' instagram account dm me said: "please be advised, you are ban(ed) permanently". honestly, pleasure is all mine, recognizing not wasting time on toxic energy is a win.

original review: not all business is worthy of our time and effort, this one hurt my feelings and i want to share my reasons. i tried to make this place my neighborhood bar since i moved into the neighborhood 6 years ago. during the pandemic, i came here a lot (Danny was the best barman, congrats on your daddyhood btw). The owner MEI acts like she doesn't know me, while telling me that's how she treats everyone.You own and hang out at a neighborhood bar!!

my feelings aside, she treats her employees in a toxic/yelling way, i've also seen her encourage and join her employee when they have screaming match with a few drunk customers. they could of cut them out before it get that far, but they did not choose that.

i'm a northeast Chinese immigrant, i saw how certain people gets treated way differently with attention. i've not made a scene, brings all my different circles of friends here and i tip. so no, i don't agree with this place's philosophy of operation at all.

after coming here for 6 years and still doesn't get a "hi" just hurts my feelings now, that does it, never again. still a free country last time i checked, y'all do whatever you want.

The bar isn't bad, but averagely expensive for the amount of alcohol you get. There's also a open mic karaoke downstairs, $1 per song which is great! My issue was the owner really. She sits at the bar and eats her customers food which they paid for and gets drunk with them at 8pm which is fine, but she leaves her dog at the bar the entire day (I've been here on 2 occasions at different times). The dog is very cute and well trained and doesn't bother anyone but but last night she was drinking with other customers and the dog peed on the floor and it was hard for people to walk where the dog was sitting, most had to jump over her. When my boyfriend went to tell her that she needed to clean after her dog she was too drunk to process it. I like the place just not the owner. If you do end up going there, ask for Peter, he makes good drinks.

Would give 0 stars if possible owner is extremely rude and unprofessional. Teaches there workers to treat you disgusting. Food is distrusting and over priced. Don’t waste your time.

my friends and I came here after dinner and had the most amazing time at their bar + karaoke. expect really homey vibes and to make friends with aunties and uncles from the area. we sang a few songs amongst ourselves and sang with the other folks at the bar — it was a great time. cheap drinks, highly recommend for an intimate and wholesome night out!!!
