Can't believe I've never reviewed this place. We first started coming to the Junkyard way back when it was in its old location, where Grandmas is now. Back then it was a total dive bar. Really terrible drinks and lots of drunk patrons.

Well, fast forward to 2024 and the drunk patrons are still there but the drinks have gotten way better. There are more bathrooms, more space, chairs and tables. And karaoke!

The food here is okay - not going to win any awards, but the last few times I've been here, it's been really fun and now with the new Arena nearby, I predict this place will do gangbusters as there isn't any competition. Yet.

A few months back we did some karaoke with some friends here. We got some drinks and appetizers and hung out. The atmosphere was pleasant like you would expect for a sports bar. The food was tasty and the on tap beer was crisp, clean and fresh. I recommend this place for watching sports with a beer or hanging with the family for some karaoke. The only issue was that children accompanied by parents still had to leave the premises by 1030pm which meant we all had to leave.

The service here is absolutely horrendous at the bar, even worse if you sit at the tables. Takes forever to order anything and for someone to even check on you. When you try to politely wave down a server, they roll their eyes and purposely ignore you. Multiple times I’ve seen Anita be extremely rude to others. Maybe customer service face to face with people is not the best fit for her. With the new arena opening up, I assume it’s only going to get worse. I highly recommend rookies or the draft instead as both are nearby, better and more friendly service, and WAY cheaper as well. Plus better food and bigger quantities!

Food was ok. Service was speedy. But if your going here for the Kareoke night, be prepared to take a back seat to the regulars. The DJ will consistently move his friends to the top of the line. Cane here for my birthday with a large party and I still had a 2 hour wait for my songs. But I seen numerous old people moved to the top of the line. BS!

This was one of my favorite spots. Love our bartenders. It was a great place to meet and the food was always fantastic. The burgers were amazing. The new food is disgusting and the entire menu is over priced. Word to the wise if u r taking over a business leave the menu alone. If it’s not broke don't fix it. This was a family friendly atmosphere, doesn't need billiards, totally gonna ruin the vibe. Price gouging when charging 4.50 for an Iced tea and a 1.00 for a refill Wow!
Karaoke is great here so at least that is a plus. Totally disappointing. .

Best weekend brunch in Oceanside, now with wicked crafty cocktails, bottomless mimosas, & a bomb breakfast menu. I get to watch all the football & baseball games simultaneously. Go Junkyard. I love this bar.

Miranda was great BUT You guys need to step it up when there is a concert at Frontwave. Your kitchen and bar staff dropped the ball big time. Food and drink took FOREVER. Many people were complaining. You guys not only need better service. You need better food and better beer selection. The same ol fare does not work in the new environment.
