Amazing food, even better view! Sparrow is a tapas style restaurant (not mexican style, more just small tasty dishes). It has a little bit of everything, american, japanese, chinese with delicious burgers, bao buns, mac and cheese. We started with edamame, crispy rice, and brussels. The sprouts were full of flavor with a crunchy miso glaze. Edamame were cooked to perfection, which can be hard to find. The crispy rice and tuna tartare were good as well, the crispy rice was a bit chewy and thick. The sushi was yummy, but not as good as a real sushi based restaurant. The NY Strip was by far a favorite, it was tender, rich in buttery flavor topped with mushrooms. The salmon was flaky and fell apart, it was lovely! The teriyaki sauce was slightly over powering. Cocktails were great, service could of been more attentive, but we were in a corner. Music was a VIBE. We will be back!!!!

Oh man what a crazy joint! The maitre d' was a hoot! He took our mobile #s and called us when our table was ready. Then he insisted on doing shots with us and had my girlfriend sit on his lap while he poured the tequila and told some hilarious jokes. Anyway, great service, lots of customer attention, and the food was delicious, especially the sushi rolls. And the views were amazing too! Big thumbs up all around. ?

Update: Just went back and found out Sparrow doesn't have a maitre d'. Weird.

2nd Update: Found a bunch of texts from that dude in my girlfriend's phone and now she just dumped me.

But the food was good. At least there's that.

I’m shocked that there have been so many negative reviews, some citing bland food and terrible service. My experience could not be any further from this. I went with my wife and my brother to celebrate his birthday.

We ordered a few drinks, which were all perfectly blended concoctions, bursting with layers of flavor and not skimping on the liquor. For a starter, we got the crispy rice with spicy tuna tartare. *Chef’s kiss* Absolutely loved it. We then got the NY strip, vegetable fried rice with steak and lobster Mac and cheese. The Mac and cheese felt like it was just missing something but the Rice and the NY strip were showstoppers. All around food would get a 9/10 for me.

The ambiance was beautiful and captivating. There was a live dj playing a wide variety of music, that was upbeat and calling for a good time without being deafening.

What sealed the deal though was the service we got from AMANDA. She was phenomenal. I could tell they were a little short staffed but she bounced seamlessly from table to table without missing a beat, while still making the experience feel very personal.

I’ll admit, the bill will add up but it was absolutely worth every penny. Will definitely be returning.

Food was marginal at best. You are buying the view, which is the only thing going for this place. The staff and servers are apathetic and incompetent, but after you get over any expectations of being served, you can find humor in it all. For our group, it became somewhat of a sport to watch some of the wait staff walk in circles trying to look busy. Interesting fact - servers can walk around with a water pitcher and just fill up water, but none of the employees got that memo.
Tip for future guests: Don't arrive with any expectation of being served and when your food eventually arrives, you can be pleasantly surprised.

My Best Friend and I went for her birthday, we arrived without a reservation, but the Hostess went above and beyond to seat us (patio) immediately even though it was a packed Good Friday night during Spring Break. Our Waitress Amanda was AMAZING very friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and attentive. My Best Friend ordered the Thai Crispy Snapper and Lobster Mac and Cheese. The Snapper was DELICIOUS, the Thai sauce had just the right amount of spice and the presentation was BEAUTIFUL. Unfortunately, the Lobster Mac and Cheese was not as tasty so she sent it back. I ordered the Seared Faroe Island Salmon with Mac and Cheese. The Salmon gaze sauce was good, but I wasn’t a fan of the Mac and Cheese. We both ordered drink, but sadly I cannot remember the names as they were recommendations from our waitress who did a wonderful job because they were PERFECTION. The atmosphere was good and the view was BREATHTAKING. Overall we enjoyed our experience and would definitely recommend and return.?

The food is tapas style and everything we tried was delicious. I definitely recommend the tuna tartare and oysters! For dinner the salmon was great. As far as the service is concerned we got sat right away and the waitress and support staff were very attentive unfortunately it was a very hot and humid night outside so we were not comfortable and we asked the manager if we could move inside to what he stated “it would be an inconvenience to the restaurant” meanwhile the inside was empty so Andres should not be in hospitality and maybe in IT with his goofy glasses. We decided to close the bill and take our food to go which was annoying since we’re enjoying the music and the delicious drinks.

Booked for a birthday dinner on a Saturday evening. Great location with scenic views on top of the Dalmar hotel. Great lounge vibes with rooftop dining.
Greeted at our table by NICK our waiter, he guided us through the cocktail selections and menu with great recommendations. Was super attentive and made it a great evening all around! Delicious food. Live DJ playing was a bonus. Highly recommend to check it out.
